About This Service
I am a parent of a neurodivergent child and offer uniquely peer-led support informed by professional experience. I have a background as a mental health nurse and DBT therapist, which supports my understanding of emotion regulation, sensory differences, and family wellbeing. This service is offered independently of my NHS employment.
What I Offer
- Understanding, validation, and emotional support for parents and carers
- Practical strategies for everyday family life
- Support to better understand sensory differences, emotional responses, and overwhelm
- Support for families whose children are diagnosed, awaiting diagnosis, or exploring neurodivergence
- Parent-focused support, and where appropriate, separate age-appropriate conversations with children to support understanding of differences

- Not diagnostic or clinical
- No crisis intervention or risk management
- Clear professional and safeguarding boundaries
- Signposting to statutory and third-sector services where appropriate

Pricing: £60 per hour for online/remote sessions. In-person sessions available across North Yorkshire — pricing dependent on location.
